2025
The West draws us in as our lantern does mosquitoes
Magical things show themselves to curious hearts
Field notes from several adventures speak of:
Stranger’s bedhead
Quick lizards and cactus bombs
Gas station massage chairs
Two girls one pocket knife
Do not settle yet
There is more road to follow
New land to lay eyes
Resting inside colorful motels
Waking underneath tall pines
Cow hide as a means of survival
In search of what makes us giddy
Leaving words to those we won’t see again
Uncertainty is all I’d like to know
